Haha I was thinking about Dumbledore while I wrote this post, mostly because I was going to say something about a sieve and I realized it would be way too close to a pensieve. Nice quote though, even if it is cheesy. It is pretty stupid to feel sad over leaving a url, but I am, so whatever. I suppose I should have a quote too, since your ability to pull something somewhat obscure from Harry Potter makes me sad that I can't recite PotC 1 by heart anymore. Or CatCF. But I guess, Norther Winslow's poetry will have to do.

The grass so green,
Sky so blue,
Spectre is really great!

Okay, now I'm spewing PotC quotes, with the help of imdb. I never thought I'd stoop so low. I'm just a common fangirl!!! SFJKJKWEJFWe.

"Still the guns and stow 'em. Signal the men, set the flags, and make good to clear port." - Bo'sun

"I think we've all arrived at a very special place. Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically." - Jack Sparrow.

What a temptation this is to start listing quote after quote after quote. Strangely these quotes are all meaningful at this moment. And it's all coming back to me now, some I can type without constantly checking back. And here are some that are just hilarious.

"You have become a fine woman, Elizabeth." KSFJKWJWLEKFJWE. I never have a straight face watching that part.

"She's safe, just like I promised. She's all set to marry Norrington, just like she promised. And you get to die for her, just like you promised. So we're all men of our word, really. Except for Elizabeth, who is in fact, a woman."

"We're going to steal the ship? That ship?"
"Commandeer. We're going to commandeer that ship. Nautical term."

"She goes free."
"What's in your head boy?"
"She goes free."

"And I'll buy you the hat. A really big one...commodore."

At this rate I'll never stop. How I managed to work these into every day conversation I don't know.

I'd like to quote what Dumbledore wrote on the Snitch he gave Harry in the last book...yeah, I know that was cheesy. But here it is: "I open at the close." So even though you (and me, oddly enough) will miss this blog, left all alone with no one to update it *sob* your new one will begin. Dumbledore quotes are awesome. Favorite post? Well, I have two. The post you did after I commented for the first time, and the post you did for me when I whined about people forgetting my birthday (they made up for it though). :) Never going to forget those!

Hi Grapes

I was hoping we could use your ’scribing’ talent for our website.

the best shows you’re not watching.com

You blogged about Mad Men which is one of our featured “BSwatch” shows. We’re hoping to round up a few people who can occasionally contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc.

What’s in it for you?
Primarily a larger audience back channeled to your blog. The site has a lot of promise and we're pretty excited about getting it off the ground. Let me know what you think

Thanks

I will accept your Galileo analogy only if I get a beard and telescope too. I was thinking more along the lines of Martha Stewart though haha.

Hmmm...yeah, and sadly, my reasoning for it being possible was "Jack does it!" How sad. I wouldn't say I'm freaky, seeing as I don't try. I'm just trying to curb my bad qualities because, ultimately, once I fix 'em all, I seriously have a good chance of being two of the things I mentioned, if not all four. Wow, that sounded vain and fake deep. But it wasn't meant to be.

It's not a matter of self-confidence for me; it's a matter of knowing what I want. Maybe it does come with age; I'm VERY different from what I was last year (and I don't mean in the "last year I wasn't a fatteh" way.) Yes, it is! That's why I'm still reading it. Catherine would be annoyed with me seeing as I like your blog more than hers....hope she doesn't read that! *jk*

Galileo: was put under house arrest. grapes = Galileo in this way.

Huzzah! Oh....okay, I think I know which one you are. I'll put the link up later today, hopefully.

You can't be elegant and like Captain Jack Sparrow at the same time, unless you are Captain Jack Sparrow (because he does have a sort of weird elegance). Which is why I never succeeded and ended up being freaky most of the time. Thankfully I have weaned myself off that unhealthy obsession.

You could always try being bipolar. Just kidding. I don't know what to tell you, because for me it just happened naturally as I found more supportive and open friends and gained more self-confidence & accepting myself. Wow that was deep. Maybe it comes with age, and don't underestimate the difference of one year. This blog is a freaking testimony to that. Enough with the deepness, Grapes.

I don't get the Galileo thing.

I'll think about the letter idea. It is pretty cool. Haha I'll probably end up gushing out a fan letter. As for the picture, yeah - link me. And you can pretty much tell which one I am because I'm the one purposely ruining the picture as opposed to the one trying to look decent.
